BLAST Search to HomeoDB
This implementation of BLAST allow you to search our database of homeobox gene using your own sequence as a query. However, remember that BLAST should not be used as a sole mean to identify or classify genes, particularly in large gene families. We recommend doing BLAST only as an initiate clue to a gene's identity, and following this with both molecular phylogenetics and analysis of synteny.
